How to get to the Ducane Housing Association
Ducane Housing Association is in Hammersmith, an area on the western
side of central London. Our closest underground station is White City
on the Central Line. See the following maps for our precise location:

(please type in our postcode W12 0UD)

Underground
Often the quickest way to get around London is the Underground train
system (known to Londoners as "The Tube"). We are easily accessible
on the Central Line, roughly half way between two stations: White City
and East Acton (about 10 minutes' walk from either.)
London Transport have a web site devoted to the Underground at www.thetube.com
where detailed information about fares, planning journeys, etc. can
be found.
A London tube map can be obtained at http://tube.tfl.gov.uk/content/tubemap/
Bus
We are on a number of bus routes: 70, 72, 283 and 7; route 70 is especially
useful for Imperial College students, since it goes directly to South
Kensington.
For general information about London buses visit http://www.transportforlondon.gov.uk/buses/
Detailed maps are available from London Transport at http://www.transportforlondon.gov.uk/buses/buses_map.shtml
Bicycle
Cycling can be a cheap and quick way to get around in London, and efforts
are being increasingly made to provide dedicated cycle routes through
the city. The Chief Executive can be seen cycling in most days!
You can get a cycle route map of London at www.londoncyclenetwork.org/
Car
All Ducane tenants have access to parking space here. However, most
of our tenants prefer public transport; it often difficult to find parking
in central London.
